This is a work under construction so please keep returning as more
transcriptions will be uploaded as they are completed.  If you have any
comments to make or know of any inaccuracies (confirmed by other sources
where possible please), then please contact me via the link on the Contacts
page.

I wish to express my thanks to the many people who have helped me with these
transcriptions:
To the church members and leaders who have given their permission and have,
in many cases, opened church safes & cupboards and given up their valuable
time to accompany me while I took thousands of photographs of their
Church records and documents.
To Susan Penter, our Wiltshire OPC project co-ordinator for all the training &
support she has given to me & for relaunching this project so well.
To other Wiltshire OPCs for their information & support.
To The Wiltshire & Swindon History Centre (County Record Office) for their
help & guidance.
To Rachel Gough, Chippenham Methodist Circuit Archivist.
To Julie Brind & Paul Connell of the Chippenham Museum & Heritage
Centre for the contacts & encouragement that they have given to me.
To the many researchers who have used my transcriptions - Happy Hunting!
Please note that in some cases in the transcriptions, I have had to resort to a
‘best guess’ but hopefully this is usually informed by other knowledge of the
families in the Parish  & area.  Please check the original documents if you can.
A good website to look at is the Wiltshire County Council Community History
Project giving information about many of the parishes and the churches of Wiltshire.
